BRiDGES is highlighted in the current issue of Moving Forward: The Newspaper of Rockland County Office of the Aging!

The Mission Statement for BRiDGES articulates a vision of a fully accessible and integrated Rockland County community by charging the agency to emphasize advocacy and leadership, promoting health and autonomy for people with disabilities. The vision is extensive. The partnerships BRiDGES builds within the community are up to the task, because Rockland County is certainly “moving forward.”
This article provides an overview of the many services that are available through BRiDGES; however, it is important to also highlight how these services are available. Each service is focused on the needs and abilities of the people of Rockland County, and each service is made possible through collaborative efforts of both public and private agencies. As an organization, BRiDGES partners with more than 30 local service providers, including 5 County Departments and several New York State Agencies.
